I am the districts speech-language pathologist (SLP) and this is my first year with Sidney Public Schools!
I graduated from Montana State University-Bozeman with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science and a Minor in Psychology. I then graduated from the University of Montana with a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology. I have a variety of clinical experiences working with children with speech, language, cognitive-communication, social communication, and swallowing difficulties while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
When I'm not being a speech language pathologist I am spending time with my friends and family, riding jet skis, going for walks, and going to Bozeman to cheer on the Bobcats! GO CATS!
I love my field and I am passionate about providing safe, effective, and high-quality care to my students. I believe communication is the key to success in life, work, and relationships. As I create a safe space for open communication to occur with my students, we will develop more trusting relationships. With this trust, we can work together to achieve their goals. I know what it is like to have someone in my corner, and my personal goal is to be a trusted, compassionate, and supportive speech-language pathologist so my students always know I'm in theirs.
